Deciding on my top 10 adult books was not an easy task for me because I read so many great books this year. Some were stand alone books, some were part of a complete series, and some have sequels or trilogies coming out in 2012.
Once I decided on my top 10 list, I then had to put them in order and this was even harder. In fact, I would go so far as to say it was a little bit traumatic. Obviously, I loved them all. I recommended them all. So… that got me to thinking about what set any of them apart. What made one any more special than the others? What I finally decided on was the number of times I read each of the books. Although I normally read very fast, when I choose to spend my free time rereading a book instead of picking something new then clearly that book must speak to me in some profound way. I probably don’t need to point this out to you, BUT, the number and absolute hawtness of the Fantasy Boyfriends in these books is enough to give a gurl a heart attack. That being said I give you my top ten books of 2011 in order. If you haven’t read any of them already I highly encourage you to do so.

Have you read the Beautiful Creatures series?
I prefer the Fallen series to the Hush Hush series. Patch kinda bugs me. I know, I am weird.
Putting it on my TBR list. Xo
I’ve read most but not all. I will be adding these to my TBR list! Have you read the Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost? (NOT YA) I discovered that this year and am really enjoying.

SR really has a way of bringing people together. If it wasn’t for his wonderful writing, I probably never would have met the fantastic friends I’ve made in the last few years. I don’t think he gets as much credit for that as he should
It’s been nice getting to know you, too! I’m glad we met through “Gabriel’s Inferno.”
I agree. I told him that once. That he’s brought a lot of people together, and it’s something to feel really good about.
My love for them is pretty well documented too *fist bumps and grins*
*fists bumps you back* I think you and everyone else here has very excellent taste in reading.
I am so darn happy you included The Light Series in your top ten, Tamie! It’s a hoot that you loved the books that much. You rock.
