Monday May 21st: Memes. Love em or hate em? How many do you participate in? Which kinds do you like best? Do you feel like there are too many?

Memes. Love em or hate em? I really enjoy them for several reasons.

1st) I think it’s a great way to meet other bloggers and see what other sites look like…what kinds of things others are doing. It can be a good way to get some inspiration.

2nd) I think they’re fun for the readers as well. It’s something different than the normal reviews, guest post/interviews, etc. and some of them are very reader inclusive and encourage comments and thoughts. I love that aspect of them.

3rd) I like having a lot of different things going on at Bookish. I think memes are a fantastic way to keep things fresh and exciting.

How many do you participate in? Well, that all depends on several factors. I try to always participate in this one. I like things that I have to think about and ponder on. I’ve also been doing the Wordless Wednesdays for the past several weeks, and am loving it. There are 3-4 others that I don’t do every week, but I enjoy them when I do…so altogether 6, but not in the same week. Like anything else too much of a good thing…isn’t.

Which kinds do you like best? I guess I kind of answered that already, but I like the ones that are interactive with my readers, and the ones that make me think a bit.

Do you feel like there are too many? Good heavens no. In fact I’d like to see more choices. There are so many different types of blogs and we all have different tastes, so I say the more the merrier. I love seeing how different we all answer or present the same thing in our own unique ways.

I guess this is an opportune time to invite any and all bloggers that read this to join in the meme I started recently. It’s called Sexy Sentence Saturday, and I’d love for y’all to participate
