This week there are 2 questions from Booking Through Thursday…
Do you have a favorite season of the year that you read more? (Example: during snow storms, rainy weather, or sunny and warm weather)
and
Where is your favorite place to read? On the beach? Inside/outside?

Hmmm…I think my reading stays pretty steady, but I probably do read even more during the fall and winter just because I don’t do as many outside activities. I really love snuggling up in bed with a book when it’s raining.

If it’s not too hot or cold? I really enjoy reading on my balcony. I also love to read when I’m taking a bubble bath. If I had to pick just one tho…I guess I’d pick reading in bed.
What about you guys? Do you have a preference as to when and where you like to read the most?

This year every season is reading season for me. I’m doing a project to read a book from every country in the world, and with 196 books to get through I have to read every moment I can! Best of luck with your blog
Wow! That’s an impressive project.
Thank you for the good wishes
That is very impressive! Good luck to you!
Yeah, it really helps me with that final unwind before closing my eyes.
I so agree Shari…I always look forward to that part of my day…which is just for me.
Mwah!
I read every day, but I don’t feel as bad about spending a day reading when the weather is bad outside. Fall and Winter months are good for that.
I am definitely a read in bed girl, but my favorite place to read is my parents-in-law’s lake house. They have a cushioned window seat, that is perfect to read in all day. It’s my morning ritual when I’m there.
I have no real specific preference. I read at any time PF the day, but I almost always read at night before bed.
I prefer inside reading to outside.
I always read before bed…even if it’s just a few pages
Since I became an empty-nester, 2 years ago, I started reading ALL THE TIME! I started to feel guilty about it, so decided that if I could read while on the treadmill, I would feel like I was being productive. Certain books kept me on for hours without even realizing it, so even though I was never very athletically inclined, I decided that I would use my mad reading skills to train for a marathon. I since have completed 2 full and 2 1/2 marathons and lost 35 pounds! I am always looking for new treadmill material!
I still enjoy reading and relaxing as well. My favorite place to read is at the beach.
Wow Karen…that’s inspiring
I also read on the treadmill…tho I don’t treadmill as often as I should *hangs head in shame*
I’ve been swimming a lot tho and books/kindles don’t seem to respond so nicely to water
I had one of those gazeebos you buy at Lowes with the canvas tops. I had it fixed w/patio furniture and a swing. I would sit there for hours with classical music playing in background and my book.
That was my favorite place to read. But its gone now so i read anywhere its completely silent.
Read equally at all seasons, when travelling and always at night.
