Hello peeps. Yesterday, we finished up with our reading and discussion of Gabriel’s Rapture by Sylvain Reynard.

Did the time just fly by for you?!? I know…me too.  So, now its time to talk about what’s next for the book club…

Elena and I have decided to take the rest of August off as far as the book club goes. She’ll be away for a few weeks visiting family, and I have a lot going on at work during the rest of the month. We both want and need to be able to devote the time and attention it takes to do the book club justice.

Sexy Sentence Saturday will be returning starting next week. Many of you have let me know you’ve missed it, so you can look forward to that

We’re still deciding on what to choose for our September book, but once we do we’ll make an announcement to let you know.

We’ve already chosen our book for October…actually it will run into the first couple of weeks of November as well, because there are a lot of chapters/pages, and we don’t want to have to rush to get through it.

Ok…ready?!?

We’ll be featuring, Gabriel’s Inferno by Sylvain Reynard.

I realize some of you are saying “Huh?!? Geez, Tamie isn’t that kinda backwards?!?”  Well…maybe…let me tell you why I chose to do what I did.

I waited almost ten months to the day for Gabriel’s Rapture to come out, and when it did, and I absolutely loved it…I wanted to talk about it with others…so did Elena. That’s it folks…that’s why we did it.

I think I’ve always been very clear about the fact that I truly love Gabriel’s Inferno…and…the Professor.  I couldn’t even begin to be able to tell you how many times I’ve reread it at this point…either partially or completely. It’s one of Elena’s favorite books as well, and I know that goes for many of you too.

There’s just one more reason…Bookish Temptations will celebrate its one year blogiversary in October, and I can’t think of a book, or author that I’d rather celebrate at the same time.

Well peeps…there you have it…O…Wait…one more thing…if you weren’t able to participate in the GR discussions as they were going on…no worries…the posts remain in our archives, and therefore are available to you at any time.
