Wednesday Hodgepodge is a weekly meme hosted by From This Side of the Pond
Here are this week’s questions….
I’ve always wanted to go but never have. Can’t I have one of each since I have 2 ears? If I have to choose I guess I’ll go for the orchid.
Favorite beverage- alcoholic- pina colada
Favorite beverage- non-alcoholic- Fuze
Favorite foods- The DQ Hawaiian blizzard, pineapple upside down cake
3. Do you believe in soul mates? Explain.
Yes, I do. Even tho I’ve never found mine I believe they exist…and not just in books.
4. Share a memory about the house you grew up in.
It was an older house, white, and medium in size. It had a small front yard, but two side yards. One was huge and had fruit trees; peach, plum and apple. It faced a street. The other one was smaller and enclosed by trees and lots of shrubbery, and it had a porch type swing, slightly hidden, where I would go to read and day dream. There was also a backyard where my mom and stepdad had a garden. My bedroom was in the basement… with the furnace in a room next door, and the noises it made at night scared the hell out of me sometimes.
5. Are you comfortable with silence?
Yes, I am. There is noise surrounding me all day long at work, so when I come home I am grateful for quiet. I can read with noise, but I prefer not to.
6. You spot a giant spider on your bedroom wall…what’s your next move? (all spiders are giant, right?)
Spiders don’t bother me as much as snakes do, but I don’t love them either. If my son was home I’d probably ask him to deal with it.
7. My idea of fun does NOT include ______________.
Drama and conflict
8. Insert your own random thought here.
I wish people would try to be more positive in their daily life, and with each other. Yes, I know that life can really suck sometimes. I’ve certainly had my fair share of struggles. I know that people need to vent occasionally, but when it’s nothing but negatives I think it begins to infect those around you. Some days you just have to make a choice to be a positive person.
C’mon now…leave me some answers from you…
