OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO…I flove this topic because it’s such a big part of my reading experience…
How much do you visualize when you read?
As I read I actually see it in my mind….not every single thing, but scenes. It’s very hard to explain it, but the more descriptive an author is…the better I can visualize it. It isn’t something I consciously do tho…it just happens.
Do you imagine faces for the characters?
It depends…sometimes I can instantly imagine someone who fits the character for me, and sometimes it’s just kind of vague and shadowy.
Can you see the locations in your mind’s eye?
This is much easier for me, and I have googled a ton of places when reading to get a clearer picture in my mind…especially if it’s some place I’m not familiar with.
Thanks to BTT for the great topic!
What about you? Are you a visual reader?
