Happy Friday all!
I’m happy to share the winner of the giveaway from Sylvain Reynard…
Recently, I read something online…a discussion about whether book blogs make a difference…whether or not they matter. I wish I would’ve book marked it because of course I can’t find it now. In the article it stated that after word of mouth from family and friends…book bloggers have the next biggest impact as far as bringing authors and readers together. Anyways…it got me to thinking about it, and when that happens I need an outlet. Fortunately, I have Bookish Temptations which provides a place to share my passion for reading, to spotlight the amazing talents of the authors who write them, and occasionally I write about topics that mean something to me. This would be one of those.
I’m incredibly fortunate that one of my most favorite authors, Sylvain Reynard, agreed to express his thoughts on the subject… AND… he’s also allowing me to offer a signed copy of Gabriel’s Inferno. I’ll share that with you a little later on.
Last week I shared some of my fave quotes from my book boyfriends, and I’ll do that again in the future…cuz I’m all about the guys in the books I read. That being said, my girls can utter and/or think some pretty memorable lines too. Sometimes they’re funny, often profound, and at other times… just downright naughty. I know I leave them out…a lot, so here’s a nod to the things they say and think…
I was asked by Tamie to do a My Book Boyfriend post and I decided to share one of my FIRST adventure with Bookish. (Note that this is my first book boyfriend ever!)
Wow! Last week’s love fest was pretty busy and I haven’t shared enough pic quotes with you peeps.
Today I wanted to showcase my all time favorite books–Gabriel’s Inferno and Gabriel’s Rapture by @SylvainReynard
