It’s almost time for Halloween, so today’s question should be no surprise…
Today one of my favorite authors has favored us with a guest post. I love those don’t you?!?
Sarah is the author of Grave Refrain…a book I love, and I’m super happy to have her here
Let’s go read her post shall we?
It’s been a while since I did a My Book Boyfriend post, but while I was busy You Tubing David Gandy on Saturday… for a future post… I happened to come across a video of Beiron Andersson, and he just screamed Andrew Hayes to me. Andrew is from Grave Refrain by Sarah M. Glover, and he just happens to be the newest edition to my fantasy boyfriends.
Let’s take a look at Beiron now…
Sarah, I’d like to welcome you to Bookish Temptations, and tell you how much I appreciate you for taking the time to do this interview.
I announced it on Twitter but I know that many of you don’t use that particular social gathering place, so I’ll let you know here… Sometime early on Saturday morning we went over the 100,000 site visit mark. Whether you’re an “old” follower or a new one, my team and I want to thank you all!
Now let’s see What’s Coming Up This Week…
Sarah very graciously allowed me to interview her, and I’ll be posting that on Tuesday. I can’t wait to share it with you.
Ok…let’s go read some more of her fabulous sentences!
The very lovely Sarah M. Glover has allowed me to post a giveaway for 2 e-books of Grave Refrain. It’s a fantastic book which I really want y’all to read, and I’m very happy to be able to offer the opportunity.
So…what do you have to do to enter?!? Jump through hoops? Twirl a baton? Write a thousand word essay?
Andrew Hayes, a brilliant but troubled guitarist in an up-and-coming band, has been haunted since childhood by the presence of his muse. One night during a performance in San Francisco he spots her–but she vanishes before he can catch her. Desperate to find her, he accepts a curious offer to stay in the city, moving into a dilapidated Victorian undergoing renovations that stir up far more than dust. Andrew’s life soon becomes even more chaotic with the arrival of martini-swilling ghosts and a troupe of flesh-and-blood stoner spiritualists bringing bad tidings from the Great Beyond. The dark side of his obsession creates visions both thrilling and menacing. As he struggles to solve the mysteries threatening the woman he loves, Andrew discovers his life is repeating a refrain more deadly than he’d ever imagined. Inspired by the sexy noir and comedies of the past, Grave Refrain transports the reader to where the things that go bump in the night not only thrill you, but might just take your breath away for good.
