Question of the Week: You just walked into your bedroom to find your favorite book boyfriend lying on your bed with three naughty gifts. Who is it and what are they?
Happy Friday all!
I’m happy to share the winner of the giveaway from Sylvain Reynard…
Recently, I read something online…a discussion about whether book blogs make a difference…whether or not they matter. I wish I would’ve book marked it because of course I can’t find it now. In the article it stated that after word of mouth from family and friends…book bloggers have the next biggest impact as far as bringing authors and readers together. Anyways…it got me to thinking about it, and when that happens I need an outlet. Fortunately, I have Bookish Temptations which provides a place to share my passion for reading, to spotlight the amazing talents of the authors who write them, and occasionally I write about topics that mean something to me. This would be one of those.
I’m incredibly fortunate that one of my most favorite authors, Sylvain Reynard, agreed to express his thoughts on the subject… AND… he’s also allowing me to offer a signed copy of Gabriel’s Inferno. I’ll share that with you a little later on.
14th week, seriously?! Well, I hope you are not getting bored looking at my photo teasers every week.;)
Here’s what I had last week.
Of all the cover reveals I’ve participated in? I have to admit this one has very special meaning to me and to Bookish Temptations, so I couldn’t be more pleased or honored than to be able to share it with all of you.
Ready?!? GO! GO! GO!
Another round of photo teasers for you folks. Check it out.
To all of our followers I have a huge favor to ask of you.
Following the terrible tragedy that happened yesterday in Boston I’d like to ask that you consider donating to the American Red Cross…
Here’s how to help and there’s a bonus…
Sometimes weird thoughts just come creeping into my brain, ok, ok…not just sometimes, but that’s for another discussion. This one had to do with character names. It wouldn’t get out of my head, so of course what could I do but ask the peeps on twitter for their opinion…
If you could ask your favorite authors one question, what would you ask?
Recently, Elena did a fabulous piece on books that she’d love to see made into movies. Now, Elena,Gel, and I will be bringing you our choices for book to film, and who we’d cast if we had that ability.
