Tailorbird (Fan Music Video for Gabriel’s Rapture)

I’m so excited to share something very special with you.

Our own Morgan Locklear has put together a video for Gabriel’s Rapture by Sylvain Reynard

How cool is that?!?

I’ll bet a lot of you didn’t know Morgan was also a fabulous singer.

  1. This is beautiful! It’s evocative, romantic, mysterious, intense…so very much like Gabriel’s and Julianne’s story.

I love how the images and how they’re constructed in the video. It seems we’re able to look into the woman’s (Julianne’s?) mind. Is she reflecting on things that happened in the past? Is she fantasizing? Is she imagining her future? Even while knowing the story, it’s easy to think it could be any of those.

The song is simply wonderful. The lyrics are perfect and mesh very well with the books.

Great work, Morgan. I think I know what you were working on so diligently last night. 🙂

I thought this video was so well done. The music and lyrics really evoked the feelings of ‘Rapture’. I liked how the woman (Julia?) walked through the gallery and her thoughts/memories became pictures. I enjoyed viewing this video!
