The scorching tale of one girl, two brothers and a love triangle…that’s not.
Olivia Townsend is nothing special. She’s just a girl working her way through college so she can return home to help her father run his business. She’s determined not to be the second woman in his life to abandon him, even if it means putting her own life on hold. To Olivia, it’s clear what she must do. Plain and simple. Black and white.
But clear becomes complicated when she meets Cash and Nash Davenport. They’re brothers. Twins.
Cash is everything she’s always wanted in a guy. He’s a dangerous, sexy bad boy who wants her in his bed at any cost. He turns her insides to mush and, with just one kiss, makes her forget why he’s no good for her.
Nash is everything she’s ever needed in a guy. He’s successful, responsible and intensely passionate. But he’s taken. Very taken, by none other than Marissa, Liv’s rich, beautiful cousin. That doesn’t stop Olivia from melting every time he looks at her, though. With just one touch, he makes her forget why they can never be together.
Black and white turns to shades of gray when Olivia discovers the boys are hiding something, something that should make her run as far and as fast as she can. But it’s too late to run. Olivia’s already involved. And in love. With both of them.
Both brothers make her heart tremble. Both brothers set her body on fire.
She wants them both.
And they want her.
How will she ever choose between them?
I love this book, love it. There isn’t one thing I would change about it. There is not a complaint I have about it, it is warm, sweet, and sexy as all get out.
I have been a fan of Michelle Leighton’s writing since reading “Fragile”, which I adore beyond all reason, I wish I had meet a guy like Hardy in Highschool. Then I read “The Wild One” and wanted a cowboy of my own like Trick. I didn’t think it could get better, well I was wrong, so wrong, because Ms. Leighton gave me twins. That is right you heard it right, two boys for the price of one. In Down to You we have the fantastic duo Cash and Nash Davenport. Oh my it just got hot in here.
Down to You is a wonderful tale about the lovely Olivia and her struggle and attraction to a set of twins. Twins who are so different, almost like night and day. We have Nash the well respected, goal oriented intelectual. Then there is Cash, the motorcycle riding, bar owner, with a bad,bad reputation. All I can say is these boys are sexy, and to be honest how is Olivia going to choose, you want to know don’t you? Well you got to read the book.
Down to you is labled as New Adult, it is rather steamy. Ms. Leighton has taken up the heat a few notches, but what I love about the way the sex scenes are written is the pure class in them. She doesn’t hide anything, there is no fade to blake but it is written in such a sexy and classy way that I found myself smiling and sighing constently. Let’s just say these scenes were very well ummm….yeah.
Michelle Leighton has this way about her writing she writes a story where you become completely invested in the novel and cannot manage to pull away or stop thinking about the characters. She has these lines in the novel that made me laugh out loud one minuet and cry the next. Personally I love Michelle Leighton’s writing, I am a huge fan and always will be. Time and time again she demonstates why she is such a wonderful author in the genre of romance. She writes women with heart passion and a faboulous sense of humour. She pens heros with courage, passion, and a resounding inherient strenght. She never disapoints in her stories, she sweeps you off your feet and carries you on a journey. So here are some of my favorite lines in Down to you.
“I have Ovaries; therefore I repel all things mechanical.“
“You are a splash of color. But there`s nothing wrong with that.“
“I am pretty sure he got her from a movie set where the music sounds like bow chicka bow wow. That or she`s inflatable.“
“And since I still have no clue which brother dove head first into my panties last night, there can be no weilding of the magic Vagina“
There are many more lines, trust me my kindle is full of highlighted bits, some funny, some sweet, other`s sexy, but always wonderful. Once again I thank Michelle Leighton for giving me the gift of her words. 5 stars from this reviewer.
