Gina Reviews: Backstage Pass by Olivia Cunning

Backstage Pass by Olivia Cunning Cover   Five stunning guys, one hot woman, and a feverish romance…

For him, life is all music and no play…

When Brian Sinclair, lead songwriter and guitarist of the hottest metal band on the scene, loses his creative spark, it will take nights of downright sinful passion to release his pent-up genius…

She’s the one to call the tune…

When sexy psychologist Myrna Evans goes on tour with the Sinners, every boy in the band tries to seduce her. But Brian is the only one she wants to get her hands on…

Then the two lovers’ wildly shocking behavior sparks the whole band to new heights of glory… and sin…

Myrna is attending a conference when she spots one of her favourite bands in the same hotel. Not allowing the opportunity to escape her, she catches their attention and meets each of the band members. Though each one of them is sexy in their own right, it is guitarist Brian Sinclair that she can’t take her eyes off of.

Brian ‘Master’ Sinclair is touring with Sinners, and though he is inundated with the the usual temptations of the rock star lifestyle, he’s all about monogamy. Poor Brian is having a rough go of it, not having written anything new for months and he has just had his heart smashed by his latest girlfriend.

Brian and Myrna can’t deny their instant attraction and things develop pretty quickly. Myrna and Brian are not only smoking in the bedroom, it seems that Brian has found his muse in Myrna. Brian promptly falls head over heels over the human sexuality professor *I know* but as attracted as Myrna is in return, she is skittish about getting into anything serious with anyone. Even her very own guitar hero.

This is not the kind of book I normally go for, but we all need to let loose once in awhile don’t we? Backstage Pass delivered in every regard. It’s one of the hottest books I’ve read in a looooong time. The sexin is plentiful and there are few places Ms. Cunning will not go. So be warned. *grins* It’s also a very funny read, there were some lines that had me laughing out loud…

He put his fingertips against her forehead. “You must be at least this tall to ride The Beast. Secure your belongings and keep your arms and legs around the ride at all times.” ~Brian~

“Deeper? Are you trying to bruise her liver?” ~Eric~

“And thank you for en-bulging me.” ~Sed~

This book introduces us to each of the five band members and gives us a taste of each of their rock star proclivities and personal habits. There are going to be 5 books in the series, one for each band member. There are three out to date…Backstage Pass (Brian), Rock Hard *snicker* (Sed) and Double Time (Trey). Each of these smokin hot sexy guys has endeared themselves to me in one way or another, and I’m looking forward to reading them.

This book was great, but not much like Rock Hard. It was a little frustrating with the Leading Female Character (Jennifer).
