Nathaniel West doesn’t lose control.
As the playboy CEO of West Industries, he governs the boardroom during the day; as a strict dominant with exacting rules, he commands the bedroom at night. He never takes on inexperienced submissives, but when Abigail King’s application comes across his desk, he breaks his own restrictions and decides to test her limits.
Abby’s combination of innocence and willingness is intoxicating, and Nathaniel is soon determined to collar her as his own. As long as she follows his orders and surrenders herself fully to him, no one will get hurt.
But when Nathaniel begins falling for Abby on a deeper level, he realizes that the trust must go both ways—and he has secrets which could bring the foundations of their entire relationship crashing down…
The Dominant by Tara Sue Me is the retelling of The Submissive but from Nathaniel’s POV. I don’t know about you but I love it when an author writes from the male POV…at least when it’s a male that I really lusted after while I was reading it.
I’ve been questioned as to whether a retelling of a story already read, but in the male POV is really worth it? I have to say that based on my experiences so far…the answer is a resounding YES! HELLS to the YES! in fact.
When you get his point of view you’ll understand why certain things were said or done. You find out what he was thinking and feeling during the story. You’ll understand and know him better. So, while I loved Nathaniel West because of The Submissive…I came out of reading The Dominant FLOVING him. You can read my review of The Submissive here.
As it’s the same story I won’t go into the same details I’ve already talked about. The main reason I would encourage you to buy this book is strictly for the new things you learn about Nathaniel. For me…it’s completely worth it.
My rating for The Dominant by Tara Sue Me:
A strongly recommended 4.5 hearts
Even though it’s the same story I have increased my rating by.5. This is because I enjoyed the POV from Nathaniel even more.
**I was provided an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. Honestly…I loved it even more than the first telling**
