When it comes to passion this hot, it’s all or nothing.
Olivia Townsend’s wealthy cousin Marissa had everything a girl could ask for—a great job, a privileged life, and all the friends she wanted. Or, at least, all the friends money could buy. But one case of mistaken identity has turned her privileged world upside down.
An abduction gone wrong lands her right in the lap of the sexiest, most dangerous man she’s ever met. To Marissa, he’s an enigma, but one to whom she’s irresistibly, inexplicably drawn.
With him comes a new world of freedom and passion, of dark shadows and dangerous secrets, a world where nothing is what it seems—except for the blind passion that Marissa can’t escape—or maybe even survive.

My Review

All along I thought I was a Cashaholic.  Well, I was wrong.  I am now a Nashaholic too!

Writing this review has been quite a challenge because I am trying to keep it spoiler free.  There is so much I want to share.  Michelle Leighton has done it again.  I became a fan of this series and have reread both of the previous books, Down to You and Up to Me.  Seriously, Cash was well worth it.  This third book brings Nash into the picture along with Marissa, Olivia’s cousin.

Now I must say, if you haven’t read the first two books, you need to get on it right away.  Everything for Us picks up right where the Up to Me leaves off.  I especially love to read books that continue a story without gaps.  Thank you Michelle for that.

This story definitely kept me on edge.  Written beautifully through both Marissa and Nash’s points of view, the reader can feel every emotion along the way just as they do.  I know I immediately felt heartache for Nash and his difficult past as well as his uncertain future.  As for Marissa, we remember her as the spoiled cousin.  She also deals with her past and her uncertain future.  Both characters share many similarities and it is those similarities that can keep them together or drive them apart.

Marissa, a character I disliked in the previous books changes and it is in this book that she becomes more likeable.  I know I started to sympathize with her and become emotionally connected to her character.  She grew up!  Life altering events such as the one she experienced will do that to a person.  I wanted her to find happiness and love just like her cousin Olivia did.

Nash, what can I say?  He is even hotter than his brother if that is possible.  He is a total alpha male. Unfortunately, his past is always haunting, preventing his future happiness. While reading, I became infuriated over many of the things Nash would do. I wanted him to get his act together. But, I never gave up on Nash and I am glad I didn’t. Although he appears broken, he goes after what he wants. I am sure once you read the book you will understand why he is my favorite character in this book and my newest book boyfriend.  Together Marissa and Nash explore their pasts and work on a future suitable for them both.  (No spoilers!)

Michelle Leighton knows how to write steamy sex scenes and with the Davenport brothers, these scenes are always exquisite, hot and memorable. The chemistry between Marissa and Nash is explosive.

All of the other characters from the previous books are back. Cash and Olivia are working on their own future, Gavin and Ginger make their appearances as well.  These are two characters I would love to read more about too.

One of the things I enjoyed the most about this book is that together Nash and Marissa are happier than without each other.  Nash realizes that he is better man just for knowing Marissa.  Well, I think I have said enough without spoiling the book.

This book has a perfect blend of romance, passion, danger, suspense and even redemption for The Davenport family. All of the loose ends come together in this story.

This book totally exceeded my expectations and it was difficult to put down.    It is definitely my favorite book in this Bad Boy Series.

I gave this book 5 stars!

My Favorite Quotes

“Don’t you trust me to satisfy you?” ….. “Well, I can promise you I won’t leave you anything but satisfied.”

“I could make you forget everything else. I can make sure that you feel nothing but pleasure, that you can’t think past what I’m doing to your body, what I’m making you feel…. And I promise, you’ll love every second of it.”

“In fact, now might be a good time to warn you that if we come back to this library, I’ll find out for myself. In this very spot. I’ll push you up against the books in the corner and I’ll put my hands on you, I’ll do things to you. In the quiet. And you won’t be able to make a sound. Not a whimper, not a moan. You’ll have to bite your lip to keep it all inside. And you know what? You’ll love ever second of it.”

“I realized that no matter how tightly I closed my eyes, no matter how much I tried to ignore it, no matter how much I wanted her to be….. She just wasn’t you.”

“When I was lost at sea, you found me. When I was lost in life, you found me.  You found me and you saved me.  And I know there’s nowhere I can go that will make me happy as long as I’m sailing away with you. The best part of me is you. The only part that matters is the one you have, the one you hold in the palm of your hand.”

“I’ll sell it. I’ll give it up. I’d give it all up for you. Anything. Everything. Everything for us. If it means that I can keep you, that it will make you happy, then I’ll do it.”

“I have everything I need right here.”
