Saturday Rewind with Tamie and Elena (11/30)

Welcome to Saturday Rewind with Tamie and Elena. Check out what caught our attention this past week…

Elena: First off, I’m so excited about the week ahead of us! Gabriel’s Redemption, the highly anticipated sequel to Gabriel’s Inferno and Gabriel’s Rapture by Sylvain Reynard will be released Dec 3rd in the USA and Dec 5th in the UK. The Professor is back, you guys! We at Bookish Temptations are participating in the blog tour and we can’t wait! This past week Sylvain Reynard announced his next novel. It’ll be The Raven and you can read the blurb on his website. Needless, to say, I’m so looking forward to this new book! Paranormal is a great genre. What do you think Tamie?

Tamie: Well…I have a two confessions to make. Y’all know that I read everyday right?!? Once I finish one book I usually begin a new one immediately, but I have not been able to start another book since I finished Gabriel’s Redemption last Saturday morning. Why you ask?!? Because I just can’t let go of it yet. I’ve been rereading, highlighting, and writing copious post it notes all week. That just doesn’t happen very often for me. The second confession is my reaction to SR’s announcement that his next novels are paranormal. I was so surprised you could’ve knocked me over with a feather. I kid you not. I probably looked like this…

because I love paranormal books, and the book blurb makes me want to read it…RIGHT NOW!!!! Sadly, I will have to practice patience…Yeah…a virtue I struggle with all the time.

Elena: And for all the fans of JM Darhower, the new edition of Sempre was released on Nov 25th. If you haven’t bought it yet, what are you waiting for? You can purchase the e-book edition on Amazon and Barnes and Noble, to name a few sites. The paperback will be released in February. This is a new edition, so it has NEW scenes… Go grab it, guys! Oh, and another thing. The release date of the sequel, Sempre: Redemption has been pushed back to Dec 16th. So Carmine is coming back sooner than we expected 😉

Tamie: Two other favorite authors had books releasing this past week. Georgina Guthrie’s book…The Weight of Words, and Katy Evans with Remy. Both are excellent reads, and I hope you’ll do yourself a favor by devouring them right away!

Elena: Another of our favorite authors tweeted this this week. So awesome, right? We can’t wait for her new novel, Maybe Someday!

Tamie: Colleen Hoover is definitely one of my go to authors…if she writes it…I will read it. Looking forward to this immensely, Elena!

Don’t forget peeps…besides my review of Gabriel’s Redemption tomorrow, Elena and I will be sharing our interview with the Professor AND the Snarky Narrator…

I love this weekly post with you guys!! Being the resident paranormal girl here at BT, I think I might have woke the house when I squeeled out loud at SR’s announcement of his new book the Raven. I love that we can still stay connected to Gabriel and Julia in a small way.

Looking forward to your reviews and the infamous interview. 🙂

One of my favorite authors just revealed the cover of her new book, Under Different Stars. Amy A. Bartol is amazing!

  2. All I can say is, I’M BESIDE MYSELF WITH EXCITEMENT!!! Dec 3rd cannot come fast enough. I know I’ll be up in an all-night-marathon of reading Gabriel’s Redemption, and my hubs will be rolling his eyes and shaking his head at me. I’m thrilled about the The Raven series. In all my years, (and they are many), I have never been so excited over an author’s novels. Sylvain Reynard is a very gifted writer, and I’m crazy about him. :)))
