Saturday Rewind with Tamie and Elena (3/8)

Welcome to Saturday Rewind with Tamie and Elena. Check out what caught our attention this past week and what we’re looking forward to…

Elena: What an amazing week this was, Tamie! Clipped Wings by Helena Hunting and Toxic by Rachel Van Dyken were released and we also got to share an exclusive outtake from Clipped Wings!
I finished the book this week and I love Hayden! I immediately added him to my book boyfriend list 😉

Tamie: I was so excited when you told me that you loved it too, and as for Hayden? He owned me from the beginning. I sometimes feel so inadequate when I try to explain how much a book affected me like this one did. Whenever I recommend a book I want everyone to love it as much as I do, but some stories are even more special to me…Clipped Wings is on that list, so I really hope everybody that hasn’t bought it yet does so quickly. I was so happy that we had the chance to share the outtake. Helena is one of those authors that I’d gladly read non-stop, and I can’t wait for the release of Inked Armor. ( I hope y’all checked out the awesome Illustrated Temptations post on Clipped Wings from our very talented Gel this week as well.)

I haven’t had the chance to read Toxic yet but Rachel is on my favorite authors list, so hopefully I’ll read it sooner rather than later.

Elena: For all those who love Jessica Sorensen as much as I do, The Probability of Violet and Luke is up for preorder. This installment comes after The Destiny of Violet and Luke, which I’ll be reviewing soon and that I highly recommend you read.

Tamie: I can’t wait for your review Elena. The Destiny of Violet and Luke was the first book I read by Jessica Sorensen and I can understand why you love her books so much.

Another book that released last week that I want to recommend is Some Like It Wild by Michelle Leighton. I haven’t reviewed it yet but I can tell you that it was a story I really enjoyed.

I was super happy to see that Tammara Webber had released another teaser for Breakable on her website. I simply CANNOT wait to get my hands on this book, Elena. I know she’s a favorite of yours too, so I imagine that we’ll both be squeeeeeeing our heads off when we finally get the chance to read it!!! #NeedMoreLucas STAT!

One last thing from me today…this week (on Thursday, March 13th) we’re hosting an awesome outtake from The Weight of Words by my beloved friend GG. I can’t wait to share it with everybody. GG is an amazing writer/storyteller and honestly if you haven’t read this book yet…you are truly missing out!!!

Have a great week all and keep reading!!!

I just put Rachel’s Eagle Elite series on my “starting next” shelf. I got the first two books from NetGalley, and am excited to start reading. 🙂
