Saturday Rewind with Tamie and Elena…(4/5)

Welcome to Saturday Rewind with Tamie and Elena. Check out what caught our attention this past week and what we’re looking forward to…

Elena: Another week has passed and so many great things happened in the book world. The paperback edition of A Hundred Summers by Beatriz Williams was released (you can find my review of the book here .) Also, I’m so happy that the Italian translation of Gabriel’s Redemption – Seduzione ed Estasi by Sylvain Reynard was released April 3! To celebrate this special occasion, I interviewed SR here . I went to some bookstores and whenever I saw the book displayed, I couldn’t contain my excitement. People were watching me, but who cares, right? LOL 😉

Tamie: It was a great interview, Elena. Thanks to you and SR. I loved seeing both the Italian and English translation 🙂

Elena: Thank you! I’m happy that so many peeps enjoyed it 🙂 Now we can’t wait for The Raven!

And now, for all the fans of Heather Huffman like myself, she announced some great things this week. Booktrope, Heather’s publisher, has combined the novels Ties That Bind, Ring of Fire and Roses in Ecuador into one collection: The Unbridled Hearts Collection. I love Heather’s books and I’ve reviewed several of them here on Bookish Temptations. Ties that Bind and Roses in Ecuador, which are present in this collection, are wonderful novels and I highly recommend you read them, if you haven’t done so yet (you can find my reviews here and  here ). I haven’t read Ring of Fire yet, but I plan to do so soon. The Unbridled Hearts Collection costs only 5,99 $, which is a great deal for three novels. You can find Heather’s announcement on her website. Also, the cover of her new novel Waiting For You  has been released and I’ll be reviewing this book for its launch. Heather Huffman’s novels are very worth the read, so make sure to check them out.

Tamie: This was a magical week for me as far as what I read. First up was Archer’s Voice by Mia Sheridan. LOTS of peeps had recommended this book, and after reading it I understand why. It is AMAZING. I’ll be reviewing it soon. Next up was Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover. Once again, this author blew me away with another beautiful story that should be on everybody’s must read list if it isn’t already. I’ll be reviewing both books very soon. Then the icing on the cake came when I received the ARC of Breakable by Tammara Webber. I actually screamed when I opened the package and saw what it was (scaring the ever loving crap out of my dog, and earning a shush from my son), but hey, I’ve been looking forward to this book since I heard Tammara was writing it. She released another teaser this week which you can view here. I won’t be reviewing this one til May, but it’s available for pre-order, and you won’t want to miss getting it as soon as it’s released.

Elena: I can’t wait to read all those, Tamie. I’m dying to read Breakable! You’re so lucky that you’ve already read it! 😉 Lucas… *happy sigh* I wish May would hurry up… This week I finished Full Measures by Rebecca Yarros and I LOVED it. I picked it up, because so many peeps were very enthusiastic about it, and they were right. I’ll be reviewing it this Tuesday.

Tamie: Tomorrow I’ll be posting the schedule for our discussions of Clipped Wings by Helena Hunting. There will also be a couple of super nice surprises involved, so make sure to check it out peeps! Elena and I can’t wait to begin our discussions of this book we both flove.

It’s official…I’m going back to Book Bash this year. My roomie during the 3 days I’ll be there is both a great friend and fellow blogger…Margie. Y’all should check out her blog…BestSellers and BestStellars. I know we’ll have a great time like we did last year, and there are many new authors attending that I can’t wait to meet!

Have a great day!

Tamie and Elena
