Sundays In Bed With…

Sundays In Bed With was originated at Midnight Book Girl. Sadly, it hasn’t been updated sine June of last year. I thought it sounded like a fun idea, so maybe we can help bring it back with a little bit of a twist. Instead of the tag line “The meme that dares to ask, what book has been in your bed this morning?” mine would be …”What book boyfriend is in your bed this morning?”

Yesterday I finished up with Better Deeds Than Words by Georgina Guthrie. I love this book so much, and I’d certainly be glad to have Daniel Grant in my bed.

Beyond having killer good looks and a body that any woman would like to touch, lick, taste and…well you know…Daniel is also super smart, thoughtful, and very romantic. He’s a man who likes to spoil his woman with gifts, and boy oh boy does he do that well. When he was issued the challenge of not spending money he came up with clever and meaningful surprises that were downright swoonerific. He’s also capable of putting a favorite poem to music on his guitar. I’d also happily listen to him quote sonnets, or lines from a poem such as this one byFlaubert…

“I will cover you with love when next I see you, with caresses, with ecstasy. I want to gorge you with all the joys of the flesh, so that you faint and die. I want you to be amazed by me, and to confess to yourself that you had never even dreamed of such transports…. When you are old, I want you to recall those few hours, I want your dry bones to quiver with joy when you think of them.”

YOWZA people!!!

Daniel Grant is a book boyfriend you should have the pleasure of in bed with you too!!!

Happy Sunday, and may your current book boyfriend bring you nothing but pleasure and satisfaction…in…or out of bed 😉
