Katiebird’s Mid Year Favorite Book Boyfriends

Did I meet/fall in love with some great book boyfriends this year!! Seriously, it’s mid year and already I am wondering how did I fall for so many amazing men?!?! Also, will I have room in my heart for more??

Without further ado, I give you my Top 5 Favorite Book Boyfriends for 2014 so far…

These are in no particular order, mind you.

Thomas Dekkar is my Mandy

Armand Lewis from The Sweetest Dark series by Shana Abe

There was no question Lord Armand was handsome. I’d seen that last night, right up close. Yet I thought now that handsome wasn’t truly the best word to describe him. Behind the wind-disheveled hair and burning blue gaze lurked a complexity not easily captured by words. Even from a distance, he struck me as deeper, darker, than those obvious good looks suggested. Like the hidden red glint inside a clouded ruby, visible only by holding the stone just right; if you don’t know the trick, all you ever saw was deceptive shadow.

Torrance Coombs is my Shane Arthur

Shane Arthur from Still Life With Strings by LH Cosway

Shane’s entire body is a work of art as he moves with his violin, and I realize that he was right, it really is like an extension of him.

My head wanders as I become enraptured by the music. I hardly see or hear any of the other musicians, my attention solely on this intriguing man.

Dusan is my Lucas Maxfield

Lucas Maxfield from Easy and Breakable by Tammara Webber

Luck could be earned and created. It could be discovered. It could be regained. After all–I’d found this girl. I’d found my future. I’d found forgiveness. My mother would have been happy for me…

Drew Fuller is my Noah Shaw

Noah Shaw from the Mara Dyer series by Michelle Hodkin

What could I say? “Noah, despite you being an asshole, or maybe because of it, I’d like to rip off your clothes and have your babies.”

Nico Tortorella is my Hayden Stryker

Hayden Stryker from Clipped Wings and Inked Armor by Helena Hunting

His quiet, unassuming intelligence and his unique perception of the world kept me intrigued. Beyond that, our physical connections far surpassed mere need. From the very first time, sex with Hayden had been transcendental. I’d never experienced anything like it before him.

So, I am kind of noticing a trend here…I seem to have a thing for brunettes this year. Oh well, the year is not over yet, so maybe a blonde will strike my fancy. LOL
