I have two more book recommendations for you this week!
Surrender by June Gray is an adult contemporary. It’s a story of loss and choosing to move on from it. It’s a story of keeping a secret that can come back and bite you in the ass. It’s a story of overcoming a deep seated fear. Opening your heart up and falling in love with somebody can be both the best and the worst thing at the very same time…because it’s a risk. Those are the themes in this book, and I think you’ll enjoy reading how those themes play out as much as I did. I recommend Surrender with a 4 rating.
Caged In Winter by Brighton Walsh is a new adult romance that I floved from beginning to end. It has strong characters, the writing is superb, and the story felt very honest and real for me. It’s one of those books that you want to just keep reading and reading…life be damned. This one was highly emotional for me…it pushed every button, but it was so beautifully balanced that I never felt overwhelmed by any of the components of the story. It touched my heart, tickled my funny bone, and steamed up my glasses several times. This one gets book crush status with a 5 rating from me.
I hope you’ll give both of these books a try!
