Great Bookish News (12/27)

Welcome to Bookish News with Tamie and Elena. Check out the news that caught our eye this past week and what we’re looking forward to…

Elena: We hope everyone had an amazing Christmas this year 🙂 We also hope you enjoyed our Best/Favorite Lists this week, that you can still check out by browsing the blog. If you haven’t done so yet, we hope you will consider adding to your TBR list those books you haven’t read yet.
And December 21st THE LIBRARIAN PRINCIPLE by Helena Hunting came out!
We love Helena here on Bookish Temptations, and I can’t wait to start this one! You can purchase it here.

Tamie: Many of you know that I work in retail, and if you were out and about this past week you know how CRAZY it was…the whole week just flew by in a blur til I was off on Christmas day. Now it’s time for things to slow down at work and I’m really looking forward to having more brain energy to devote to reading 🙂 I too hope you enjoyed our week of best and favorites, and echo what Elena said about trying out the books and authors we loved in 2014, and are looking forward to reading in 2015!

Elena: Tamie, this week I went to the movies, and guess what was there? The poster of Fifty Shades of Grey featuring Christian and Ana together in a passionate moment. It’s exactly like the cover of the book movie tie-in edition, which you can view here. I couldn’t stop squeeing!

Tamie: Elena, I went to a movie last week as well… saw the poster and thought…WoW! It really is almost here. There’s an entire group of us from my work that have big plans for dinner and drinks before we go off to the cinema. I can’t wait!!!

This next week both Katiebird and I will be posting our reviews for a book we have mad love for. We’re also working on a joint post which will run sometime in the near future. The book? Bad Romeo by Leisa Rayven. I hope you’ll check out the reviews to find out why we feel the way we do, but in the meantime I have just two words to say…READ IT!!! 😉

Huge hugs to Georgina Guthrie for the amazing and divine deleted scene we got to host yesterday. Read it here if you missed it. It’s all kinds of HOT!
