Welcome to Bookish News with Tamie and Elena. Check out the news that caught our eye this past week and what we’re looking forward to…
Elena: March is going to be an amazing month as far as new releases are concerned. Lots of wonderful books are coming out in the upcoming weeks. Among them is Famous by Kahlen Aymes, the first book of a new series! It comes out on March 17th and you can pre-order it on iBooks, Smashwords and Barnes and Noble. Links on Amazon will be made available soon.
Tamie: Two of my favorite authors have books which will be releasing on March 24th, Manwhore by Katy Evans, which I’m reading right now, and The Record of My Heart by Georgina Guthrie. There are a ton of great books coming out in April, but I’ll share those in a future post 🙂
Elena: Beatriz Williams, the New York Times bestselling author of The Secret Life of Violet Grant, A Hundred Summers, and Overseas, an author I’m a huge fan of, has a new book coming out this year. It’s Tiny Little Thing and it comes out on on June 25th. Williams’s books never disappoint and I can’t wait for this one! You can pre-order it on Amazon.
Tamie: Yesterday in Katiebird’s review of Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed she mentioned that her favorite song from the soundtrack of FSoG is Salted Wound by Sia. I rarely buy soundtracks from movies no matter how much I enjoyed the film, because so often I only love 1 or 2 songs. Not so with this one. I bought it because I truly love pretty much all of them. My very favorites are Love Me Like You Do by Ellie Goulding, One Last Night from Vaults, and I Know You by Skylar Grey. I have the cd playing every day. What about you guys?
If you have any bookish news please feel free to share it in the comments.
Have a great Saturday all!

I agree with you, I rarely buy the soundtrack but I also bought this one, love almost all of the songs. I think the last one I bought was from Twilight New Moon……..

I LOVE the Fifty Shades Soundtrack too! This is the 1st CD I’ve owned that I enjoy almost every song. The lyrics are are perfectly fine tuned to the story of Anna and Christian. It’s a beautiful thing! My kids are sick of me playing it all the time.
