Great Bookish News and Upcoming Releases!

Welcome to Bookish News with Tamie and Elena. Check out the news that caught our eye this past week and what we’re looking forward to…

Tamie: I saw an interesting article tweeted about on twitter, regarding whether Harper Collins will sign a new contract with Amazon once it’s current deal runs out. You can read it here. Many of you may remember the ugly war between Hachette and Amazon last year which was finally, and thankfully resolved. Simon and Schuster, and Macmillan both have contracts in place, which still leaves Penguin as an unknown. If you’re wondering why I’m bringing this up and why it could make a difference to you, it’s because without a contract you won’t be able to get either print or Kindle books if this isn’t resolved.

Elena: Colleen Hoover keeps on hosting great giveaways on her Facebook page. Check them out here!

Tamie: Ann Marie Walker has a new website and you should check it out here. I just finished reading Remind Me a few days ago, and am recommending you have it on your TBR list as you’re going to flove Hudson Chase! The release date is April 21st.

Elena: Beatriz Williams, NYT Bestselling Author of Oversears and A Hundred Summers, revealed the title and the cover of her new book coming out in November! It will be titled Along the Infinite Sea and you can check out the beautiful cover here. Beatriz has also another book releasing in the upcoming months. It’s called Tiny Little Thing and it comes out in June! You can pre-order it here.

Tamie: Emma Chase wrote an awesome piece for XOXO which talks about Drew Evans as well as her new characters in the Legal Briefs series.

K.A. Linde, author of the Avoiding series has released a never before seen deleted scene on her website.

I also wanted to give you a heads up that Gel and I are working on a super fun “Ultimate Gabriel” casting bracket that we’ll be posting in the next few weeks. You’ll be able to vote for your vision of the perfect Gabriel Emerson (Gabriel’s Inferno by Sylvain Reynard), the man you’d most like to see play our beloved Professor in a movie or television series. And, there might be a giveaway or two involved so stay tuned 🙂

Check out these new releases for this coming week by clicking on the book cover!

We want to wish a Happy and Joyful Easter to all those who will be celebrating!

Have a great weekend and an amazing week!
