I loved Simon! I loved Wallbanger and the rest of the Cocktail Series. I loved the Redhead Series! I love Alice Clayton! Always have and always will. 🙂 And now NUTS–the first book in The Hudson Valley Series is just really refreshingly good and overall a fantastic read. And yes, I LOVED it!
Hands down to Alice Clayton for always writing the best humorous and yet sexy-hawt books! The complexities of the characters are so well developed. I loved the banters, the funny exchanges, and all the innuendos are just spot on!
I totally can’t wait for the next book! What a great start to a new series!
For now, check out my pREVIEW and head on to Katiebird’s review after. 😉
NUTS
(The Hudson Valley Series)
by Alice Clayton
From New York Times bestselling author Alice Clayton, the first in a brand-new romance series telling the humorously sexy tale of Roxie, a private chef who gets a taste of love—but is it to stay, or to go?
After losing almost all of her clients in one fell swoop following an accident involving whipped cream, private chef to Hollywood’s elite Roxie Callahan gets a call from her flighty mother, saying she’s needed home in upstate New York to run the family diner. Once she’s back in the Hudson Valley, local organic farmer Leo delivers Roxie a lovely bunch of walnuts, and soon sparks—and clothing—begin to fly. Leo believes that everything worth doing is worth doing slowly…and how! But will Roxie stay upstate, or will the lure of West Coast redemption tempt her back to Tinseltown?
ALICE CLAYTON worked in the cosmetics industry for over a decade before picking up a pen (read laptop).
She enjoys gardening but not weeding, baking but not cleaning up, and finally convinced her long-time boyfriend to marry her.
Now, about that Bernese Mountain dog.

Just finished Nuts! I love it just as much as the cocktail series, wallbanger, and the redhead series. Maybe a little bit more. Leo just flew to the top of my list of Hot Farmers! YUM!
