Katiebird Reviews Loud is How I Love You by Mercy Brown
Loud is How I Love You by Mercy Brown
One girl’s heart gets rocked to the core in the first novel in this sexy New Adult series.
Twenty-one-year-old front girl Emmylou knows that getting her band noticed in the ‘90s indie rock scene will be no easy task. She definitely knows better than to break the number one rule of the band: Don’t sleep with your bandmates! But after she ends up having the best sex of her life with her guitarist, Travis, she finds following that rule is a lot harder than it sounds.
When the band gets the gig of their dreams, making it big seems just within reach. But Emmy’s inability to keep her hands off Travis threatens everything they’ve worked for. Can Emmy find a way to break the rules and not blow the chance of a lifetime?
I found out about this book from Lauren (part of Christina Lauren), when she sent out this crazy intense email that praised this book, like I hadn’t heard anyone praise before. I wish I had saved the email for this post. But it definitely got my attention and was the main reason why it was on my Most Anticipated Books of 2016.
Illustrated Temptations: Pucked Over by Helena Hunting
Pucked Over by Helena Hunting is the third book in the Pucked Series!
I thought no one could really ever top Alex Waters in Pucked, but then again, you can never tell with this awesome author! I did love Miller in Pucked Up. But dood, RANDY BALLISTIC is the man!!!! This stunning, charming, hilarious, sexy lad had me at “The fuck you say to her?” Also, I really wanted to play a little tonsil hockey with him. Ha! You’ve got to read it for yourself. It’s really an amazing story. And I hope… I hope there’s more.

Illustrated Temptations: Appealed by Emma Chase
Happy Book Birthday to Emma Chase!!! Appealed just went live the other day and I am so excited for you guys to meet Brent and Kennedy. This 3rd book from The Legal Briefs Series is such a sweet addition to the gang! I thoroughly enjoy reading Emma’s work (as if I haven’t mentioned that over and over and over again).
This story is all about second chances. B and K were oozing hot and sexy as hell together but it was the witty banter they shared that had me constantly laughing out loud. I loved Kennedy’s feisty attitude plus Brent’s sexy humor. It’s amazing how Emma Chase brilliantly writes romances involving fierce, independent, sexy heroines with rich-playboy-with-cocky-attitude-heroes who always end up madly in love with each other. Also I have to point out that Emma deserves to get an award–“The BEST” in writing in male’s POV. I really think she was a guy in her former life. lol
All I can say is, one-click all of her books. Now.
