Teaser Tuesday with Gel (2/16/16)

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My teaser:

Saving Evangeline

Nancee Cain

***chapter eleven***

I’m in love with this story!

Remiel is not your typical guardian angel. He’s not bad, just a little naughty perhaps, but he’s so swoon worthy.  He was sent to earth for a very special mission. Evangeline on the other hand, is struggling from a dark past and depression. She has the tendency to self-destruct and that’s Remi’s mission–to save her.

Will his love save her, or will they both be lost forever?

I am so glad I was able to lay eyes on this masterpiece. Check it out!

  1. Karen Cundy says:

“A delicious shiver ripples over me as his breath whispers across my cheek.”

“i twist in his hold so I can face him and look up into his brown, brown eyes.”

I’m reading Set The Pace by Kim Karr – Jasper Storm is seriously hot.

  3. Nancee Cain says:

Thank you Bookish Temptation! Here is one of my favorite quotes from Saving Evangeline: “Just for tonight, let’s pretend I’m not a priest and you’re not crazy. We’re just two normal human beings having a good time. Just a man and a woman at a rip-off carnival, living in the moment.” –Remi
