What Are You Reading Wednesdays (8/3)

1. What’s the name of your current read?
2. Go to page 34 in your book or 34% in your eBook and share a couple of sentences.
3. Would you like to live in the world that exists within your book? Why or why not?

1. What’s the name of your current read? Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by J.K. Rowling
2. Go to page 34 in your book or 34% in your eBook and share a couple of sentences. “Amos: Voldemort wanted you! Not my son! You told me yourself, the words he said were, “Kill the spare.” The spare. My son, my beautiful son, was a spare.”
3. Would you like to live in the world that exists within your book? Why or why not? It’s certainly a place I’d love to visit, but I’m not sure I’d want to live there full time. I am a muggle after all 😉

What about you?

    2. “Is there somewhere private we could talk?” He ushered me to a supply closet, two doors down. I figured he was a regular in there.
    3. Sure…just not this one. Although funny as can be, it is a little too real for me. I would want my alternate book world that I live in to be…well…an alternate reality, maybe an alien or time travel scenario.

“I’m sorry.” She wiped her eyes. “But really? I came here expecting the Liam and Melody ‘Let’s burn them all’ speech and instead you’re fighting over Stormtroopers and Stan Lee? Thank you for lightening the mood, really.”
This is the latest book, in one of my top five favorite series’. The main couple is quite frankly, the most “out of the box” romance I have ever read, and I love it. At this point in their story, they have been married for years and have three children, but they are still as hot and desperate for each other as ever. I think I would love to spend a little time with the Callahan Family, but I’m not sure I could live there. Melody is a badass bitch, in a world of badass men, and she RULES! There is a scene in this book, where she sticks a fork in the hand of a gang leader. When his trashy girlfriend, tries to throw a glass of orange juice on her, she wordlessly orders her death, and simply tells the gang leader, “About your girl, you’re gonna need another one.” I’d like to pick her brain a little, but I would not like to live in constant fear of my surroundings, keeping my children in a fortress for their own protection.

    2. I can’t do it. Not tonight. Maybe not ever. You can. You will. You don’t have a choice. I inhale. Exhale. Underneath my hand, I feel her warm, satiny throat move as she does the same. I smell her fruity lotion as I inhale ; try to do it slowly.
    3. I am huge Ella James fan, but not sure if I want to live in this novels world… But I am enjoying my visit!
