These Royals will ruin you…
From mortal enemies to unexpected allies, two teenagers try to protect everything that matters most.
Ella Harper has met every challenge that life has thrown her way. She’s tough, resilient, and willing to do whatever it takes to defend the people she loves, but the challenge of a long-lost father and a boyfriend whose life is on the line might be too much for even Ella to overcome.
Reed Royal has a quick temper and even faster fists. But his tendency to meet every obstacle with violence has finally caught up with him. If he wants to save himself and the girl he loves, he’ll need to rise above his tortured past and tarnished reputation.
No one believes Ella can survive the Royals. Everyone is sure Reed will destroy them all.
They may be right.
With everything and everyone conspiring to keep them apart, Ella and Reed must find a way to beat the law, save their families, and unravel all the secrets in their Twisted Palace.
Sooo good, but soooo difficult to talk about, without ruining all of the surprises! The perfect ending to a series that I hate thinking has come to an end.
Here is what I can say…Ella is a fighter till the end, not just for Reed, but for the whole Royal family. I loved that.
Reed goes through hell, but does come out a better man in the end. Getting his point of view was amazing. I love his spirit.
I think I waited like maybe a day, after getting the ARC, to start reading, knowing that it was going to be a crazy ride of emotions. I felt them all. My stomach hurt at times, because of the anxiety and worry. The twists and turns start immediately and honestly just keep coming.
So this is Ella…
“Jesus, okay. Here’s the deal, Aspen. I’ve dealt with more in the short life than you’ll ever experience, so all the pathetic. I don’t give a rat’s ass what you think of me. Actually, if you don’t step back and rethink your decision to even look in my direction, I’ll make it my sole goal for the rest of this semester to drive you literally insane. I’ll stuff week-old seafood in your locker. I’ll destroy your homework. I’ll tell each and every girl in the place that you have gonorrhea. I’ll have pictures of you wearing girl’s undies made up and distributed in giant full-color prints around school.” I smile coldly at him. “Do you want that to happen to you?”
Aspen’s face turns as white as the snowy town he was named after. “I was just joking,” he mumbles.
“Your jokes suck. Hope you have a job with your daddy waiting, because I can’t imagine your little brain making it through college.” Then I spin around and face the front of the room.
I give this book 5 rollercoaster ride stars, and put it on my “books that own me” and “top shelf fantastic reads” shelves in Goodreads.
****I was given an advanced copy of this book to review honestly. The excerpt is from that copy.****
