These guys… they can be left alone in a corner, do nothing but look gorgeous, hot, sexy and mysterious.
Who’s your favorite mysterious guy in a book? Who intrigued you to the core? I have a long list but one of my favorites is Jesse from This Man Trilogy by Jodi Ellen Malpas. That man is so hard to read. I love him though.
Way Back Wednesday is a Book Meme created by A Well Read Woman with the aim to write mini book reviews on books read in the past, that left a lasting impression.
When an author decided to write a series, I think the first book is crucial. First, it has to leave a long lasting impression to us–readers. Secondly, almost the same thing as the first one…it has to be something different. A story has to stand out and make us want to beg for more as soon as you flip the last page of the book. Sometimes, authors does not plan on writing a series at all but because the story was too beautiful, they just cannot stop from there. And the readers kept on asking for more.
Here are some of my few favorite “first book” in a series that I admit on shamelessly fangirling, begging and asking for more to the authors.lol Continue reading →
Happy Tuesday!!! Men in suits! I believe this is already a part 2. Then again my eyes and my mind and my heart is aiming in introducing the new guy in my life—M from Jodi Ellen Malpas‘ new released book One Night Promised.
If you loved This Man Trilogy, I’m definitely sure you’ll love this one too. Watch out for my pic teasers tomorrow.
I started off as a self-published author and landed in a world that I had no idea about. I’m ashamed to admit it, but I didn’t even know about this amazing online community of authors, readers and bloggers. My success since my This Man journey began has undoubtedly been assisted by bloggers, like you, who work tirelessly and at no benefit for themselves, other than the pure enjoyment of reading and sharing their latest find. I had no pre-promotion, no marketing, no contacts. I just pressed that publish button and was lucky enough for my story to fall into the hands on a few bloggers, whether by default or by talk in the community. From there, word spread, people talked and bloggers reviewed and shared my story. You have played a massive part in this, and I thank you wholeheartedly for that. I have a special folder on my laptop with all of your picture quotes. I’ll treasure them forever.
Congratulations on your 2 year blogiversary, you wonderful women, and keep up the fabulous work!
