Today as we end our Valentine’s week celebration, I’m beyond excited to share with you a love note and a small scene involving, Hudson Chase and his soul mate, Allie from the Chasing Fire series by Ann Marie Walker and Amy K. Rogers.
Raven Wood’s vampyre prince has returned, pledging his love and promising justice for every wrong done to her. In the wake of their reunion, Raven is faced with a terrible decision—allow the Prince to wreak vengeance against the demons of her past, or persuade him to stay his hand. But there is far more at stake than Raven’s heart…
A shadow has fallen over the city of Florence. Inspettor Batelli will not rest until he uncovers Raven’s connection to the theft of the priceless art from the Uffizi Gallery. And while the Prince hunts a traitor who sabotages him at every turn, he finds himself the target of the vampyres’ mortal enemy.
As he wages a war on two fronts, he will need to keep his love for Raven secret, or risk exposing his greatest weakness…
What two authors (dead or alive) would you love to get in a room together, just so you could listen to the conversation?
And what made you put those two together? Are they going to be entertainingly contentious or bosom buddies at first sight?
I just finished reading Nuts by Alice Clayton, the first book in The Hudson Valley Series, and it was AMAZINGLY GREAT! I absolutely adore Alice, so in anticipation of her latest book coming out this month, I want to talk about why I love her so much…
Darken the Stars (Kricket #3) by Amy A Bartol
Kyon Ensin finally has what he’s always wanted: possession of Kricket Hollowell, the priestess who foresees the future. Together, their combined power will be unrivaled. Kricket, however, doesn’t crave the crown of Ethar—she has an unbreakable desire to live life on her own terms, a life that she desperately wants to share with her love, Trey Allairis.
As conspiracies rage in the war for Ethar, Kricket’s so-called allies want to use her as a spy. Even those held closest cannot be trusted—including Astrid, her sister, and Giffen, a member of a mysterious order with a hidden agenda. But Kricket’s resolve will not allow her to be used as anyone’s pawn, even as the Brotherhood sharpens its plans to cut out her heart.
As the destiny prophesied by her mother approaches, Kricket will backtrack through her fiery future to reshape it. For she knows one thing above all else: the only person she can truly count on is herself.
My goal has always been to give my thoughts on a book to encourage you to read it, without giving too much away. It is going to be difficult with this book, but I will do my best to keep it “spoiler free”.
Trying to pick just one sexy snippet from Dark Wild Night by Christina Lauren is ridiculously difficult because there are so many great ones to choose from. But, here you go…
