Happy Book Birthday to Emma Chase!!! Appealed just went live the other day and I am so excited for you guys to meet Brent and Kennedy. This 3rd book from The Legal Briefs Series is such a sweet addition to the gang! I thoroughly enjoy reading Emma’s work (as if I haven’t mentioned that over and over and over again).
This story is all about second chances. B and K were oozing hot and sexy as hell together but it was the witty banter they shared that had me constantly laughing out loud. I loved Kennedy’s feisty attitude plus Brent’s sexy humor. It’s amazing how Emma Chase brilliantly writes romances involving fierce, independent, sexy heroines with rich-playboy-with-cocky-attitude-heroes who always end up madly in love with each other. Also I have to point out that Emma deserves to get an award–“The BEST” in writing in male’s POV. I really think she was a guy in her former life. lol
All I can say is, one-click all of her books. Now.
“You will never be alone! We’re together. Do you understand?.” —Beckett
How could you not love Beckett? Cole? and Blake? These three have always been on the list of my favorite book boyfriends. They made a comeback after the happily ever after on Saving Poughkeepsie. It’s not a continuation though. It’s a rewind from the start, when the bromance blossoms between the three. I had a love-hate moment reading Poughkeepsie Begins. There were so many heart wrenching scenes that I truly cannot imagine happening to these young boys. But everything that they went through really defines and molds the strong foundation of their brotherhood.
It always excites me when an author decides to write more about their beloved characters. That’s why I am a bit disappointed with myself for not reading it sooner when I got my copy. Well you know how real life intrudes on our reading time. lol Anyway, I’m just so glad to know more about Ryan and Julia during the time when they met and how all the sparks happened. And it was all written here—Before Ryan Was Mine.
This series is one of the sweetest love stories that will always have a special spot in my heart.
I’m so excited to show you my teasers for Sylvain Reynard’s new released novella-The Prince. This is a prequel novella to The Raven, SR’s new –The Florentine series. It’s no secret how huge of a fan I am of the Gabriel’s Inferno series and of course, of SR’s writing. I LOVED it! Devoured it in one reading and again, I’m lost in SR’s captivating world. I felt like I was transported to Florence, Italy. That’s how vivid the scenes are written. One more reason that I was totally stoked is how SR was able to connect one series to a new one. It’s like shifting to a new gear and making another remarkable journey for the couple that has grown in our hearts, plus a whole lot of new interesting characters! It’s amazing!
Happy Wednesday my beautiful peeps! I might be a week late for this party, but as Drew quote Dee–“and the world could end tomorrow, remember? The aliens could invade… global warming… we’ve got to live for the now, ’cause you never know when the now will be gone.”–I think I still have the fair chance for my illustrations.lol So without further talk I wanna show you my pic teasers for Tamed by no other than the perfect Queen of male’s POV–Emma Chase. “Congrats on the release of this amazing read and thank you for sharing Matthew!”
Hey Peeps! Wow, I can’t believe it’s July already! aaaahhhhh! I just wanted to do a Wayback Wednesday and let’s check out how far we’ve gone on our TBR list since January this year. It’s surely a lot and won’t fit in one post so maybe expect a Part 2? *wink*
