In less than a month, the Outlander mini series on Starz is going to resume!! I am so excited that I decided to move forward in my reading of the series by Diana Gabaldon, and start Drums of Autumn. At the same time, I am also rewatching all of the previous episodes of Outlander.
That is what I mean by OVERDOSING. LOL! Check out my thoughts on the series and the fourth book, Drums of Autumn.
Happy Friday! Today, the whole FanFic Friday team is sharing what we’ve been reading—fic, books, newspapers… I kid, I kid, no one reads newspapers anymore. Annie and I used to do these types of posts in those first dark days of my fic break; we thought it would be fun to bring the feature back (cue Annie saying “the feature’s dead Angela”) and have the whole team tell you what they’ve been reading over the past few weeks [Annie: *swinging earbuds* I need your playlists]. These aren’t necessarily reccs but you will most likely find something new to check out! I’ll go first. 🙂
That’s what HE said Thursday is a weekly meme hosted at Chapter Break, where you post a favorite line from your book boyfriend to his heroine….
Several of my twitter bff’s and I have an ongoing discussion about the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. We’re very excited because Starz is filming a television series based on the books right now, and so far everything we’ve seen looks really good. These books are among my all time favorites, so if you haven’t read them yet…give them a try.
The lines I’ve chosen today come from the third book in the series which is called Voyager. It’s one of my most favorite.
***Please be warned that the following may contain spoilers if you haven’t read the book yet***
Many times while reading a book or series there is a character that is so heinous I want nothing more than to step into the pages of the book and cause grievous bodily harm, but as I’ve not yet figured out how to do that I must settle for writing about them.
I’ll begin today by sharing my top three…I have many more that I’ll be sharing in the future.
So…who gets my vote for those most deserving of literary homicide?!?
Today’s Sexy Sentence Saturday is from Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. I actually had something else in mind until last night when I got into a discussion on twitter with some of my friends. One who is just now reading this fabulous series, and another who like me has read it many times. I got to thinking that I haven’t done any kind of posts on this series in a really long time, and since it’s one of my absolute all time faves…well…here we are…Sue and Renata…this one is dedicated to you…
