Book Boyfriend I’d Most Like To…(the paranormal guys)
Normally on Sunday mornings I post a topic from 18 and Over, but sadly the host has decided to put that feature on hiatus for a while.
So for now on Sunday’s I’ll share some of my favorite book boyfriends in a different way…this week…the paranormals…
Review:The Night Huntress Series by Jeaniene Frost…
It’s been a really long time since I did a series review rather than one on each book, but that’s exactly what I’m going do today.
I spoke briefly about this series of books not too long ago in another post. I’d been in a real reading slump…such a bummer when that happens. I’d seen my friend Jag tweet about how good these books were, and if I were forced to only choose one person to get book rec’s from she’d be mine.
I DL’d the 1st book into my Kindle, but before I started reading it I also made a trip to one of my favorite book stores to check the series out a little more hands on. As much as I love my Kindle it will never replace the feeling I get when I hold a print book in my hands. Since I’m big on cover art as well, seeing it up close and personal is just way better than seeing it on a screen. I gathered up all the titles said book store had available and found a cozy chair off in a corner…O…and I had a caramel macchiato too…coffee and books in the same place?!? Heaven! That’s almost as good as Wine+bubble bath+book 😉
My Book Boyfriend- Bones
***Adult Content***
My Book Boyfriend this week is Bones from the Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost. His real name is Crispin…hmmm…Crispin…at least it’s polysyllabic 🙂
Anyhoo…I gotta give credit for discovering this totally smokin’ hawt Vamp to the person that recommended the books to me in the 1st place…my literary crack dealer…Jag. It’s pretty much a guarantee for me that if she’s floving a series…I will too…Fever, Merry Gentry…Mmmhmm…and this series is no exception. I’m up to book 6 now, and I’m pretty much burning thru ’em every 2-3 days. Did I mention I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump recently?!? Egads, I know. That’s a scary thing for someone like me. In truth, I haven’t totally had my world rocked by a book (except for Fifty Freed) in awhile. But my reading mojo has returned with a vengeance thanks to this series. OK…enuff about me…lets talk about why ur really here…Bones.
