Our Blogiversary celebrations continue with another great giveaway!
I want to thank Charles Sheehan Miles for agreeing to participate in our Blogiversray celebrations. Charles is the Author of the Bestselling Just Remember To Breathe and The Last Hour, two books I absolutely loved and that are part of the Thompson Sisters Series. His latest book Nocturne, which he cowrote with Andrea Randall, is having huge success, and I highly recommend it,
Today, Charles is sharing exclusively here on Bookish Temptations, scene 1 from chapter 1 of his new trilogy!
A few months ago I shared some of my favorite kissing scenes in books in the post you can read here. (from Gabriel’s Inferno and Gabriel’s Rapture by Sylvain Reynard, Easy by Tammara Webber, Sempre by JM Darhower, The Future of Our Past by Kahlen Aymes, and Paradise by Judith McNaught.) Today I want to share some other beautiful kisses from books I absolutely loved. Get ready to swoon!
Welcome to another of my posts, where I talk about my fictional crushes. This week, I’m showing you two male characters, that recently conquered my heart and they entered the list of my favorite book boyfriends: Andrew Parrish from The Edge of Never by J.A. Redmerski and Gregory Fitzgerald from Nocturne by Charles Sheehan Miles and Andrea Randall.
Savannah Marshall is a gifted flutist and daughter of musical royalty when she enrolls in the elite New England Conservatory of Music. Brilliant, eclectic and passionate, she lives music, but struggles with her plans for the future.
Gregory Fitzgerald is one of the most renowned cellists of his generation. A member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and professor at the Conservatory, he is laser focused on his career to the exclusion of friends, family and especially romance.
When Gregory and Savannah’s paths cross in the classroom, it threatens to challenge more than their wildly differing beliefs on music. Friendships, ethics, and careers are put on the line as Gregory and Savannah play a symphony of passion and heartbreak.
In the final movement, Gregory and Savannah are handed their greatest challenge, as the loss of absolutely everything they’ve held as truths hangs in the balance.
You all know by now that I’m a big fan of Charles Sheehan Miles’s books (you can find my interview with him here) He wrote Nocturne with Andrea Randall, bestselling Author of In the Stillness. I’m always very curious to see how a story turns out, when it’s written not with two but with four hands. I have to say that the result of the collaboration between these two authors is phenomenal. The love story of Gregory and Savannah kept me on the edge of my seat, and made me shed tears of joy. It has the right amount of angst and a beautiful HEA.
