Illustrated Temptations: The Revenger by Debra Anastasia

img_0006-0

WOW. And yet again, Debra Anastasia WOWed me. First of all, happy release week to this wickedly wonderful lady! The Revenger is live and up for grabs! I just gotta warn you tho… this book is no dark romance! It’s a trap! Not sure what genre it should fall into, but it’s kind of a mind-fucking twisting-beautifully-sick-badass-fantasy-unsettling in a good way-kind of read! I really don’t know what I’m talking about. Like, I have no words or correct phrase to describe it. Whew! I devoured it in a day. I couldn’t wait until I got to know all the details, and so I had a one night stand with this book! I FLOVEd it!!! And the ending is awesome for me, others might wish for a different one but they are no Debra Anastasia. So yeah! Amazing job Deb! 😉

Illustrated Temptations: Never Tear Us Apart by Monica Murphy

Intense, captivating, heartbreaking and I cannot wait for more…

That’s the thing that comes into my mind after experiencing Monica Murphy’s Never Tear Us Apart. Yes, it ends in a cliffhanger but I totally don’t mind and the second book will be out in May.  I loved that is was written in dual POV. The “then and now” is perfect which truly allows me to experience what to feel with what was happening to the characters.

This is by the way my first read this 2016.

I am definitely off to a good start.

www

Way Back Wednesday is a Book Meme created by A Well Read Woman with the aim to write mini book reviews on books read in the past, that left a lasting impression.

What do you miss most in a novel that you’ve read from the past? Maybe a scene or two?

I think I miss the feeling of love and excitement when I read the book or certain scenes for the very first time.

Also, the impact that these stories have brought into my life.

Here are some of my all time favorites…

Illustrated Temptations: NUTS by Alice Clayton

img_0006-0

I loved Simon! I loved Wallbanger and the rest of the Cocktail Series. I loved the Redhead Series! I love Alice Clayton! Always have and always will. 🙂 And now NUTS–the first book in The Hudson Valley Series is just really refreshingly good and overall a fantastic read. And yes, I LOVED it!

Hands down to Alice Clayton for always writing the best humorous and yet sexy-hawt books! The complexities of the characters are so well developed. I loved the banters, the funny exchanges, and all the innuendos are just spot on!

I totally can’t wait for the next book! What a great start to a new series!

For now, check out my pREVIEW and head on to Katiebird’s review after. 😉

Illustrated Temptations: Hard to Break by Bella Jewel

Hard To Break is the second novel in the Alpha’s Heart Series from Bella Jewel. I’ve read the first book–Hard to Fight and I absolutely LOVED it! You can check out my pREVIEW here.

There’s something about Bella’s writing that definitely draws my attention. So when I received an arc copy of the second book, I was over the moon and I finished it in no time. I really, really like her writing style. As for the story, it’s really a good read. It can be read as standalone but I’m telling you, the first book is so worth the read!

Check out some of the teasers that I made…
